Tamara Waters Payne, Designer and Owner of Tamara's Treasures, has extensive experience as a professional artist.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in 1991.  For three years, Tamara worked as an Artist and Designer at The Works, a theme park design company.  She also studied Sculptural Anatomy and Figure Sculpture at the Art Academy of Los Angeles.

 

     For twelve years, Tamara worked as a Special Effects Artist in the film industry, creating Miniature Special Effects for commercials, music videos, and over 20 feature films.  Tamara continually refined her skills in construction, illustration, painting, sculpture, plan drawing and 3D design.

     Tamara's Treasures was founded in 2003 as the perfect way for Tamara to utilize all of her creative, artistic and professional skills to          re - invent the art of gift giving.  She attends many industry gift and gourmet food shows to stay current with styles and trends, and to ensure that only the very best products are used to accent her designs.  Tamara is an award - winning designer:  This year she was named the 2007 National Master of Design and Marketing!  She also won First Place in two design competitions and was voted "Best In Show" at the 2006 Las Vegas Basket Connection, the top gift basket industry show in the country.  Tamara's beautiful Treasures are also regularly featured in the nationally published magazine, Rave Reviews.
